United Nations Human Rights Council
The Human Rights Council is an intergovernmental body within the UN system, that is in charge of strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights and of addressing situations in which human rights are violated. It has the ability to discuss all thematic human rights issues and situations that require its attention and act accordingly, usually by making recommendations on them.
